Technically, according to Ford, the crush sleeve HAS to be replace every time. According to Ford, so does the pinion nut. I've seen a lot of guys re-use both of those parts without any damage, but it isn't the "correct" way to do the procedure. You need a visual inspection.

We had those nylon washers on Evinrude motors many years ago and they always worked fine. We always replaced them with new ones when the oil was changed.
